Big Issues
In the USA alone over 1,600,000 persons will be affected by some form of Cancer annually. More than 800,000 people will die from the devastating impacts.
Aside from the physical, spiritual, financial, and mental strain, negative aspects arise. Even with better than average insurance coverage, costs can run into the millions of dollars.
Those with little or no coverage simply can’t get treatment or medications. Just having a reliable form of transportation to get TO a doctor, medical center, or hospital can be challenging, especially for a caregiver or volunteer.
Faith In The Fight seeks to attract individual donors, businesses, churches, and grants to provide a financial supplement to ease stress, worry, and depression which prayer, spiritual encouragement, family members, and volunteer helpers may not immediately relieve.
The 'Faith in the Fight' initiative seeks to establish a reliable and faith-driven network of support for those facing cancer diagnoses in the Allen and North Texas community. The program combines the strength of local business partnerships, church ministries, and compassionate volunteers to meet both spiritual and material needs.
